  1. Hey Chris,

This would really be useful to add to my services. I haven’t really looked into how it works. Do you recommend any good wso’s on reputation management? Would you be actually providing fake reviews for the clients? I understand you could probably push it down on google organic listings but I’m not sure about giving fake reviews.

Oh yeah…I would love a copy of that direct mail piece u were talking about in the video.

    Cheers

    • Hey Kheng,

I’ll get you some good information about Reputation Marketing and I’ll email you this Prospecting letter that you can use.

As far as the service goes, you definitely DO NOT want to do fake reviews. Basically how “Ethical” reputation marketing works is you help a local business employ processes that encourage positive online reviews from their current customers. This can be done through a contest, hand out cards etc…. If done proactively you can actually prevent negative reviews from being posted online and instead have those sent to the business owner directly to take care of.

If someone is telling you to do fake reviews, they are not someone you should be taking advice from.

I hope that helps a little

      Chris

  2. Chris,

I appreciate the information, and will you please send me a copy of the letter? Also looking forward to your LPA membership.

    Thank you,

    ~OJM~

    • OJM… Thanks for the comment. Looking forward to helping you in the Academy also. I’ll get the letter out to everyone asap.

      Cheers

  3. Hey Chris, super cute blog! I’m all over low hanging fruit!

Reputation management is a tricky service because you need to make sure the reputation is worth saving!

PS I just had to share with you that I will never think of the word “try” the same way again…I spent the last two days watching rugby. It is a lot like football, but the scoring point is worth 5 points is called a “try.”

    • Hey Brenda… Good to know my blog is “Cute” :) Not sure if that’s what I was going for but I’ll take it! Certainly better than “Horrible Blog” or “Take Your Ugly Mug off the background” :)

Your are right though….you want to make sure it’s not a client that is truly BAD. I think every business has unsatisfied customers, its just some get unlucky and have it plastered everywhere! Definitely good to do your homework first!

  4. Hi Chris thank for the grate strategy to get client for reputation management. Also if you can send me some information on how to deliver this service would be awesome. What is your LPA membership about ?

  5. Hi Chris.. great video on targeting prospects. Really appreciate you taking time to put it together.
Would love a copy of the letter you use.

Question: Honestly, do you get any flack from prospects for eluding to the fact their reputation
“SUCKS” ? I’ve never had the guts to use it that way. I guess my question is, does this letter actually get you the best results? Fair question right mate?
    Thanks again!!

    Thomas

    • Hey Thomas, thanks for the question. I’ve only had one person get mad about it and most are happy that I’m pointing it out to them and appreciate the honesty! I’ve found that a lot of these businesses had no idea that bad reviews like these were out there and they are eager to combat them with better reviews!

I’ll get you the letter shortly!

      Thanks again,
      Chris

  6. Hi Chris,
Thanks for the info. I’m gearing up to start offering rep marketing and this is great stuff.
Looking forward to a copy of your letter. Mucho thanko!

    • It is a hot service right now. Just make sure whatever service you decide to go with that you stick with it and learn all you can about it!

      Letter sent :)

    • Cool Ted, thanks for posting buddy. I got your letter sent out. Keep me posted on how RepMgmt is going for you and don’t hesitate to ask me anything!

    • Hey Greg, you’re absolutely correct. Without those two things, there is no business! Not one you enjoy at least!

Thanks for the kind words. I’ll keep putting out good stuff for you guys!

      Cheers

  7. If a dentist has such a bad review as in this case study why would you want to work with him? I’ve been to several bad dentists that wanted to do unnecessary work and over charge me, a bad dentist deserves to have others know how poor their service is? In his case it looks like the assistant might need to be fired, lol.
